As all of you know, my son Trek passed on June 21st, 2012. He was the sweetest, most beautiful boy and my family and I miss him so much. The past five days have been incredibly painful and mostly empty due to his irreplaceable absence. Thank you for your kind words, thoughts, and prayers to my family in this time.

One of Trek’s doctors reminded me of Ms. Richards and it made me like her more. If I remember correctly she labeled Bret, John, and I the “odious ones.”
It’s funny, I knew so much about what I thought back then. Now everything is more fluid and less concrete. I guess that’s the way it goes.
